I had an account in good standing. I paid my bills on time and in full.in fact, I had a refund from a merchant which gave me a positive balance.
American Express then claimed my account was fraudulent, and refuses to give me my refund.
They have also slandered my good credit to the credit bureaus.
I have filed complaints with the BBB, FTC and my state Consumer Affairs, but to date have received no assistance.
I will have to take legal action against American Express because of their committing theft and fraud against me in this regard.
