I got a call from Ameritrust financial saying if I paid $200 directly out of my checking account that they would give me a $2000 credit limit credit card. But when I was reading the other reports on usacomplaints.com I discovered that their company was a scam. When I called to cancel my membership. The Customer Care Service told me that they couldn't cancel because I wasn't in the system, I told her that I had a confirmation number and she paused for a long while and then had the nerve to tell me that she still couldn't cancel it and that because I had called in that they would be taking the money out sooner then I had thought. So I called my bank to put a stop payment on my checking account and I will be calling the company back to try and cancel my membership yet again. But I'm just glad I was able to figure this out before anything had happened and screwed up my checking account and everything like that. It's not worth the hassle of rebuilding my credit if they're not going to follow through on what they had been saying. I THANK everyone for their imput on the website. I just wish I would've known about them sooner before they actually got any of my information. They called under a company called Five 9.
