My hsuband & i, opened a checking/savings at wells fargo, lk stevens wa may. From the beginning, we have found the account opening/signature card to have been altered/forged. We believe they had access to our online banking and check cards. We had a forensic, document examiner review the checks and they were altered/forged. Wf wouldnt settle. I had to file a lawsuit as our previous atty didnt want to go to litigation. We have so much documentation/evidence against them violating our federal consumer protection rights, its not funny! I saw a familiar story on this site. My advice is not to give up! Get a handwriting expert to review signatures and documents. Then, go for it! I have an excellent forensic, document analyst that would probably, love to help!
