3 days ago I responded to a letter from Allied about a previous debt that AT&T wireless claimed I owed. I called allied and spoke with a person named "TIM". I told him that I did not owe this money but just wanted to resolve the issue. He offered to settle the $421.00 balance to a reduced price of $210.00. I agreed and gave him my debit card number. I told him to please email confirmation of our conversation, and he agreed he would.
The next day I was checking my bank account online and noticed that $421.00 had been deducted from my account. I called allied and spoke with another man named "TIM", who claimed to be supervisor. He told my to bad I agreed to pay the debt in full. Which I never did. He was extremely rude and hung up on me. After 20 or times calling them back trying to reach "TIM", I found this website. I am really nervious about them having my bank information. My bank is researching the issue but I don't know if they will be able to fix this problem. My advise is NEVER NEVER NEVER give them your bank info.
