Rude people say I owe them money

I was contacted recently by a representative of Allied Interstate Collection. They said that I owed them money from a previous bank account that I had. I paid my debt to the bank that I owed and closed the account. Then this crazy company called me saying that I owed a ridiculous amount of $225. I'm not sure what I should do but I would appreciate anyone's suggestions.
