Chase Manhatten just bought out providian credit cards accounts. My own account was at 14 percent interest. The new rate is now 24.99 IF I stay with Chase under the NEW agreement. I wrote and cancelled the card and now they have to keep the balance at 14 percent.
I encourage everyone to do this with credit card companies that take us for a ride in a time of low and falling interest rates. Send them a clear message. CHASE we are not gonna stand for this!
