My purchase request for Virgin Mobile minutes was declined and Bank of America debited my account 4 times and paid the merchant. When I called the bank to request a stop payment, my request was refused, my e-mails were ignored, and resolution to the matter is still being prolonged. Bank of America's transaction system can take consumer money in a flash, but it takes days and useless paperwork to get the money back. I'm leaving Bank of America for a nicer, people-friendly bank, and I hope other consumers will join me in showing Bank of America that we are the reason their company exists.
