Ocwen has had the "care" of or mortgage for 10 years now and has ruined our credit so badly that we can refinance or even get credit. They have done this by not posting payments to our account. And adding on interest to the account saying we owe 15000.00 in back interest.
One time I recall clearly we made a payment on the 2nd of March for the March payment and then another on the 31st of March *same month* for the April payment, then a few months later someone called and said we were behind on our payments and when could they expect the next payment and in the course of talking to them they said that we had never made a payment in April and that the second payment in March was "just and extra" payment.
The very first invoice they ever sent us *after HUD sold our loan to them*, said we were 6000.00 behind in interest and when we asked about it they said that was the loan interest and it was due at that time... We can't make that much of a payment at one time for anything and they have been killing us ever since. They are now trying to forclose on the house even though we are not behind..
What can we do? Where do we turn for help? Is there a way to fight this?
