We just recently refinanced and ASC was paid more then my pay off amount was plus I made an additional payment. The total amount of my refund should have been $7,770.64. The amount that I was refunded $3,217.02 which is a difference of $4,553.62.
I called the company to find out why my refund was incorrect and they told me that my pay off was only good until the end of August and it was paid on September 1 and that interest had accrued. I asked how I could have accrued over $4,000.00 worth of interest in one day and no one could answer me. I spoke to 3 people and no one could figure out anything to tell me except it was interest.
I was then informed that pay offs did not have a phone number and I needed to write them a letter and I couldn't speak with a manager, I had to handle my complaint through correspondence. I just think it is completely riddiculous and they are full of it. I seriously hope I do not get sold to them again or I don't know what I will do.
