Melissa Grant - ACA Recovery
Ripoff Threatened to get a warrant out for our arrest and get us charged with a felony claimed to be a lawyer was so rude and demeaning would accept no reasonal Payment for our owed debt!

We were contacted by a Melissa Grant, at 6 AM in the morning on Sept. 14, from ACA Recovery demanding we pay the entire amount owed on our debt.

We explained we absolutely are willing to pay but we do not have the almost $700 to pay off the debt in full, we would be willing to make reasonable payments that we could afford and she would not accept that.

She began threatening to get a warrant out for My Husband's arrest, get us charged with a felony, She claimed she was with a Law Firm, was so rude and would not let Me get a word in edge wise. She kept repeating that we are commiting a felony, and she would tell the "Lawyer" to send charges to our local Police Station.

She threatened to contact My Husband's work and I explained that by getting "Warrants" and contacting My Husband's Job would not produce the money owed in Full that we Don't have!

I ended up hanging up on her when she would not listen to Me or accept anything but the FULL Amount.

She called again today (Sept. 19) and repeated the same thing, except now when I brought up her threatening us and the fact that I would contact a "JAG" for advice since we are willing to make a payments we can afford to resolve the debt, she completely Lied and stated that she never said that she'd have a warrant issued and that she demanded Only the amount in full... Yet on this conversation she repeated that we were committing a Felony!

After 20 minutes of her going off and not listening to a thing I was trying to say I hung up on her Again. She then called My Husband's Job and was told that they would give no information and all they would do was write her name and number down to give to My Husband..

I am so upset with how this agency's employee treats people, and outright LIES and threatens. It is unbelievable and unacceptable to do that to people.

I am a very honest, calm person and I have no tolerance for this Lady talking to Me in this manner. To Lie and Call us at Six in the Morning is unacceptable, not mention Threaten and accept no money from someone 100% willing to pay off our owed debt.
