Wrongful Billing and Harassment

I have read everyone's story and it is sad we have people like this who just try to destroy good people credit. But I need some help or maybe I missed the link somewhere.

Wam has been calling my wife over and over and will not provide any type of proof of the bill owed. It was some medical bills when she went to the hospital a couple of years ago. We to full coverage insurance providers through our jobs. Paid our copay at the time we went to the emergency room. No letter from the hospital and a couple of the bills are over 2 yrs old. WAM says the insurance did not pay it all and it is to late to file the claim they won't pay them that old.

Ok my point is, why didn't the hospital send us a bill and I could have got with the insurance company at the time or the Hospital and see what went wrong if anything. But they will not send me any proof of what was paid the date of visit. But yet they have it on her credit and will not stop calling and wanting phone checks or credit card numbers, they are rude people.

What can you do to get them to prove the bill is valid? They say they sent us some letters but I check my mail and I have seen nothing from these nuts. I have even looked back at some medical bills and seen nothing. Any suggestions from anyone on what I can do to these people and get it off her credit. I disputed it at the credit reporting ag. And it came back valid. But will not prove to me.
