This is my complaint to a consumer fraud that happened to me.
In early June I was searching internet sites to get a reconsolidation loan. This company contacted my by phone and said that I was approved. I said for them to fax me the documents. After reviewing, I found that it required a deposit of $700.00 US dollars to receive the $5,000 loan with a 7% fixed interest rate. I sent them the deposit on July 31 and contacted them with the Western Union confirmation. They said that the deposit into my bank acct would happen in 24 hours.
When that didn't happen, I talked to one of their agents, Kimberely Sheffield, and she said that the lender reviewed my file and require an additional $700.00 deposit. I send them on August 8 since I figured once I get the loan sent, I'll be okay with paying my bills and doing the reconsolidation of my accounts. I did not receive any money and contacted them, they acted shocked. The said that I could send an additional deposit (which is now totally ridiculous) or a refund. I requested a refund and said to fax me a copy of that agreement. I didn't receive it. August 30.
Now when I call the number it say that the number can not be reached from my calling area and gives the number 47831. I don't know what else to do at this point except for posting this information anywhere I can so that maybe I'll stop them from doing this to anyone else. Maybe I'll find a way to get my refund
