CCA First National Credit Card
Credit card ripoff

Hi, my name is Eric and I was recently ripped off and think it would be helpful to others to notify them of this scam.
Thanks,
Eric

My letter to the FBI;
I recently bought a "First National credit card" from a company called CCA in Las Vegas from an add in the mail. They charged 200.00 for a year and bragged no interest. I recently graduated from college and knew that I needed a credit card for many jobs so I got it. I am supporting my mother who is 71 and really could not afford it.

When I tried to use the card it would not work. When I complained to them at their "Austin Office" they then stated that it was only good for their catalogues. I told them that this was fraud and they agreed to send me two $100.00 gift certificates for the money they took out of my account.

When I tried to use the "gift certificates" for a suit that I will need for interviews, they sent me back a notice that they would need another $50.00 for them to "process the loan" so they could start "billing me" for the cost of the suit.

I checked them out on the internet and found an entire website dedicated to exposing them as frauds. Http://usacomplaints.com/Corrupt-Companies/CCA-Catalog-First-Na/cca-catalog-first-national-car-BA23E.htm
Check it out, this company needs to be stopped, they are robbing our country blind.

This is a copy of the letter I sent them that got me the gift certificates.

Dear Sirs;
Recently I purchased from you a credit card that looked like a credit card but was not a credit card. I recently graduated from school and needed a credit card. I did not need a catalog card. When I went to Lowes to purchase some materials for my house, I was dismayed to discover that it would not work! When I called your company to find out why it would not work the person told me that question number five of my activation activity stated that it was not a credit card. I remember that conversation well, I could not hear the man and kept asking him to speak up, it took so very long to complete the activation that I became in a hurry for I had other things to do, so I just said yes to everything even though I could not understand anything.
Please return my $200.00 to my account or send me a check and de-activate my cards and I will not pursue legal action.
I am sorry for this unfortunate misunderstanding.

Thank You
Eric
