I financed a computer through Dell Financial for 48 months, which was my first mistake. After a divorce and falling behind on some bills, Dell Financial sent the debt to Surpass Resource Corp. This was not a problem either since I planned to pay the bill.
Here is where the problem starts. When I call Surpass Corp and ask that a monthly statement of the agreement we had for me to pay be sent to me monthly they said they don't do that. Ok, then when I paid the bill off over the "PHONE" after several months of paying through them I thought I was done with them. I then asked that a statement showing I paid it off be sent to me. They told me that when they reported it to Dell Finincial that they would send me a statement of paying it off.
Now, months later another debt collector that Dell Financial has paid to collect debt has been calling my house called "ER Solutions." Every time they call I answer and it is just a machine telling me to call another number and that it is important. One day I called the number and they told me a had a outstanding debt to Dell Financial. I told them it was already paid and the customer service rep hung up on me immediately. I called back and talked to a young lady who explained that Dell Financial reported me as owing about $730 dollars to them and they were contracted for this debt.
Then I call Dell Financial and they say I never paid the debt. I expain to them I paid the debt through Surpass Resource Corp. Here is the big problem... Surpass Resource Corporation has no web site to contact anyone and also the phone number to call DOES NOT WORK. If anyone has had this problem with Dell Financial or Surpass Resource Corporation please comment.
Now after paying this debt I still owe it according to Dell Financial and I will not pay for it TWICE!!! It is on my credit report and will probably stay there unless anyone knows how to help.
