I applied for a tele-sales position with msi cellular group/marketing solutions international via careerbuilder.com. I signed the contract 7/17/06 and went to work immediately. After putting in 20.5 hours, i emailed my time sheet several times and the ceo - kevin white emailed me to contact him. I left several messages on his voice mail and sent several emails. When you call the company, you must state your name and then the call is transferred. Mr. White kept avoiding my calls. One morning i called and did not state my name, ironically enough the ceo answered the phone. He told me he was going into a meeting and would contact me at 10am cst. I never received a phone call back. Several emails later and i still haven't gotten paid.
Although i only worked 20.5 hours, i still want to be paid. I don't work for free and i have a signed contract stating that i would be paid a certain fee and on a certain date.
I will be filing a complaint with careerbuilder as well. I am a new mom trying to make some extra money from home and it's a shame that there are companies out there that take advantage of people. There was no investment required; however i invested time into this company and now am not getting what i deserve.
Stay away from msi cellular group and/or marketing solutions interntional. They also go by the name new sprint deals. Their offer to work from home is to their advantage - they get people to work for their company and then don't pay them.
