American Financial called and told me I could get a credit card I applied for on the internet and that $200 was needed for downpayment. They informed me that I would get the $200 back in vouchers to pay my bills every month. At the end of the call I asked for the web address they gave it to me and hung up.
I visted the web addy and called them back to cancel once I found out it's not for a card. They told me customer service was closed. I called CS the next day and they told me it was cancelled and provided me with a conf#. This was 07/18. The debit was scheduled for then and didn't ach out of my account 07/26. I called them and provided the cancltn # and they told me they have no record of me calling or the cancltn# and that they cannot pull up the recored call. Of course they can't cause it doesn't exist.
I worked for a place that operated like this (to an extent) in Forest Park Ohio and they were raided by the FBI but are now a legit co. I know how this stuff works. I was taken cause I did apply for a credit card on internet for a co with same name. Little did I know this company is fraud. Apparently they used to be American Financial and changed to Capital Financial after they had a lot of complaints. Once they get raided by the FBI they will think twice.
