The sales people called me up and and told me about this "great" credit card that I got approved for. But they never told me it was "ONLY" for a catalog. So I signed up with the program and I cancelled my membership with 24 hours of the of membership. I told them not to transact the transaction until 11/09/07. I cancelled it and the lady gave me a confirmation number. I got the confirmation number but two days later I found out that they had taken $100 out of my account. I called them up and the lady said that it will go back to my account. So I waited and waited, two damn weeks. After two weeks, I called back and the lady said that they couldn't do a refund. I told her that a lady told me, and she said that there is only two ladies in the business (her and her supervisor), and she stated "My supervisor would never say that", I asked them to check the recording tapes. She refuse to check the recording tapes. I told them that I want to hear the recording tapes because I have a good memory and that's what she told me. She still refuse to check it and supposedly said "Our system is down". So I was like "what the hell?". Well I called my bank and filed a claim against American Financial and my bank is going to contact American Financial for an investigation. My bank told me that what American Financial did was an UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTION. So watch out American Financial a lawsuit will come your way and shut your business down.
