Ripoff / Taking Money from bank account saying I authorized / when I have not talked to them

I was called in November, I tried to set up payment arrangements on an old credit card, payments were set up till 6/24, I get a letter today saying on 6/24 2006 that I authorized them to draft from my checking account and I have not had contact with these people since November. They did not validate letter, the account for the credit card is not the account that I was paying on it had a zero Balance when closed
I have tried to contact them they hang up when they see number of my caller ID,
