I brought double wide from LUVs in fort worth texas. I love my new home but i hate the mortage company. Will where do i start at. The payment was due on May 3 I had call them in April the first part of april, because my husband on herrina surgial he had a herrina that repuctre and it was a life or death matter.
Well we didn't have any heatlh insurance and before the hosptial would do surgial we have to come up with $2000.00 to put down before surgial. And then all of the doctor bills and hosptial bills, and the dr said he couldnt work for 2 months and that meant my paid would have to paid all the bills plus dr visit.
I made 400.00 a week so we want from 1,000.00 a week to 400.00 a week it was hard. I call them to tell that i was going to be late on the payment and they said that was fine dont worrie about it just send in the money when you can.
Well May 3 comes around and I lost my job and I didnt have the house payment money and they start to harrasment calls to me and my mom and my dads and my grandma house. And they all dont live with me. Well mail them a check in june for may payment and i told them not to draft it out of my checking account bc it wont go through bc we had identify stolen and so the bank watch the draft.
Well they try to draft out and it didnt go through, will instead of them calling and tell me this or writing a letter to me and they said nothing at in a month later, in june my dad call the mortage company to make a payment for me the june payment not knowing i still for may payment. Well my dad does a check over the phone and give them the routing # and the account # and the CK # and the amount his is going to paid, and they accept and gave him a conformation number on it. So my dad thought every was ok, and they still did said nothing to my dad about the may payment will it came for the july payment due and I get a phone saiding i need to call vanderbilt mortage.
Well my dad calls me and said that mrs. So in so from vanderbilt mortgage call me and said that you are 3 month behind and that they need all the money by 5 pm today or they was going to foreulser on the house. I didnt understand why and I try to call them and they hang up on me and my husband to. We only got the moblie home finance and no land or anything just moblie home loan. Well me and my husband start to call them and they would speak to us. This is on July 5 will my dad recived a letter in the mail that day from them said that the account #, ck#, was inviald account and it was some one else account. Well my dads call me and tells me this. When my dad and stepmom was in the same room and hear my dad give the infomation for the payment and he didnt give the wrong information to them. What had happen was the lady that he was speaking to on the phone at vanderbilt that day put the wrong account #, routing # and check # in the system worng and so it came back and they didnt bother to call anyone to let us know that instead they gave a cf # for the payment.
Well we call the on july 5 to make a payment bc we didnt why they was going to foreculese on us. We go to check by phone and put in account information, they came on the phone and said that can not that a check for us or on our account anymore and if we sent one the mail they will ripe it up. I ask why she said you nsf check for 3 months, so we had to money gram it. Then we get a phone from the sale person who sold our house to us and tell me that my paper work in the process for foreclosing on my house and want to no if he can come and show my house, bc it on the marker for sale. I said hell no you cant.
Before this happened luv home told us that are house will be here at on place on wednesday at 9:00 am and to have all of are stuff box up bc someone would be out here on wednesday before the new house comes to take the underpen down and to untie my house and to discount all of my water, sewer, and eletric, and when the new house come then can drop one side of it and hook on to the old house and pull it out of the way bc the new house is going there.
Well a crew was there on wednesday morning and then unhooked everything and unblock it. Well I call the sale lot and to see if my house was on the way and they said yes it should be getting there. I said ok, and this was at 12:00 and in the mean time my old house it unhook and unblock and ready to go. Well 5:00 pm comes around and my new house wasnt here yet so I call back and ask where it was at they said that the mover didnt want to move bc the wind was blowing lighly. I ask them couldnt anyone call me and let me know this.
So here it was 5 pm and when have no eletric water sewer in our old house bc they wasnt going to bring the new house intil tommorrow or friday and this is on a wednesday.in the mean time I have a 100 gallons fish aqurime, my daughter and all of my food that in the refigertar (icebox) and I ask them want are they going to do about getting someone out here to put some block under it bc my house start to rolled back, and hooking my water, sewer, eletric back up intil the new house comes, they told me to go and stay at a hotel, them knowing i have a fish aquimen, dogs, cats to feed. They said that not there probale. And was rude about it.
The sad thing about this is that I live 20 miles from the sale lot that my house was in. Well thursday come around and they all day it on it way, will at 9 pm that night I get a phone call and they said that my house will be here in the morning at 9 am.in the mean time I had to take off from my work and got wrote up for it and they spoiled all of my food that was in the icebox and I just went that week before and brought 400.00 worth of food. Will all of it was runed. And I call them ask them want they was going to do about it and they told me nothing it was my problem. Will friday at 9 am my house arrive.
They move the old house and put the new one in. Well I got a surprise then. Well where do I began.
The outside of my house the sliding part had holds all over the house and they was big enough to notic them, then they start to put my house together will peaces it together.
I mean they didnt finish tieing my house down on the back side of it they only put 5 tied down instead of the correct amount they said that they will be back in the morning to put the rest of tied down on bc the ran out, will I go inside the house and I miss a bedroom door, window, trim, a chip on my kitchen counter top, black tar on my on vinyl floor in the master bathroom and the kithcen, the kitchen floor was bold, and the carpert wasnt strech out, the doors wont shut all the way. The house was a mess, in one of the bedroom the sheet rock is crack, my floors pops.
Then I go in my bath tube in the master bathroom with mr bubbles and my bath tube turn yellow instead of staying white, the a/c company they had to hook up over a/c didnt completed there job bc when it rain and lighting outside the lighting hit are a/c unit outside and through a breaker, and if you turn on or off a light switch when it rainin and lighting out side it will shock the piss out of you.
Then never came back to relevel our house after 30 days like they said they would.
Also when me and my husband went to close on a monday night they put the loan in my name only and that was okay, but here what i didnt get is after we sign the paper they said I interest rate is 8 % for 15 years and we was buying the house for 31,000.00 so that put at 400.00 a month. Will we was okay with that. Well sign the paper and we get ready to leave and I ask for my copy of the paper work and they told me that they will make copy tommorrow and send it with the new house and my keys.
So the paper came with the new house and we was looking over them and they redid are paper bc the interest they have is 11.99 % for 15 years and the price of the home is 51,000.00 and the tax for the house is 3000.00 a year and we dont paid property tax bc my mother and father pays them bc we live on there land not enough a 100 yard from them. So that made are payment go up to 548.39 a month and then i get our payment book in the mail and I was looking thought it in oct our payment goes up agian nother 100.00 more a month. And I call and ask them why and they said bc of the property tax.
They didnt have any answer to my question or want to help me out. But they want their money.
We notice on some of paper that I sign at closing that my signature are diffrent from my signature, like the forging my name to the paper, it the the interest paper, the amount for the purpachsing of the house and the monthly payment, and how my payment will go up 1/4 every month or year.
