After 3 close dates we finally purchased our home on july 10th. My realtor my insurance company and the sellers realty company and now ticor title have all been un blessed by this company. I have documentation of the conversations that have taken place after the last 2 and a half years. Yes it took that long. My fiancee had some credit problems so we got his credit score up to a 630 i have proof. They ran just this yr from jan to march almost 20 times not only countrywide but the appraisal company landsafe.
I am now aware that they only need to run it 1 time and its good for 60-90 days. Barbra ziady constantly lied she never checks her messages so our close date was cancelled 2 times b4 we got to close. We were told at one time we were approved for 105,000 guess what they screwed us down to 70,000 was all we could get. We lost 3 homes along the way because of their screw ups. They lie constantly b4 we were approved they told us everything was all ready to go they needed to send the grant package down state to indianapolis well they couldnt do that unless we paid the 695 in order to recieve the grant. They never asked us for that money.
Come to find out they never even started the loan process. Their branch manager cathy peck was numerously notified of all the lies and problems that she actually gave us our appraisal money back on a house we lost because of her workers incompetance. She promised us our loan would be approved but we never expected it would only be for 70,000. We paid appraisals on 3 homes already and inspections too. Our tax money went out the door.
They also brought the credit score so low no other company would touch it. But even those companies couldnt believe their eyes when they saw how many times these people ran our credit. We were told so many times we have everything we need for your loan then it was well we need bankstatements which we paid 5 dollars for evry one they needed for the past 2 and a half yrs.
There is sooo much more to this story and I have it all written in my notebooks with dates and exact conversations. My realtor my insurance company and others involved in these transactions are more than willing to testify in court. We have 3 kids ages 5 and under who have also suffered dissapointments. I have been currently diagnosed with an anxiety disorder and what do ya know it all started after we tried to buy a home through countrywide.
There are so many things they did wrong. There is a big difference between what we could have been approved for by another company and what we got because of the credit damage they caused. The time my fiancee took off work to replace lost and destroyed documents not to mention 3 days off work for closings that never happened because they dont check messages for over a week. We made the branch manager aware of these problems and has yet to to do anything to rectify the situation. Barb dumps all her problems off on her assistant who is the only one that got the paperwork together for us to close.
Our loan officer never showed up to closing probably because some of the paperwork wasnt correct. Thankfully our title company was able to fix the problem. Alot of tax money almost 5,000 was spent in paying off bills we were later told we wouldnt have had to pay off because that would mean negative activity on the credit report which will also lower your score. We could have gotten a much higher approval somewhere else had we known they were going to completly damage his credit rating to where he couldnt even qualify for a low end credit card.
