It started when I lost one of my jobs and got a cut-back on my part-time job. I consistently send as much as I can to make my monthly payment.
When I purchased my car it was near the 1st of the month. I asked CapOne to change the due date to the end of the month.instead of moving it backward 5 days, they moved it forward 10. Therefore, guaranteeing me that I would not be able to make the payments ontime.
Since then, beginning on the day that I am 1 day late sending in a payment I receive at least 5 phone calls per day until I answer the phone. Well, it doesn't stop there.
I also have been a victim of the "holding of the EFT draft" problem. I too have a Bank of America account and authorized an EFT payment. Usually this transaction will take place in a matter of 24-48 hours. It's been two weeks now and the $ still hasn't cleared my account. And yes, I STILL RECEIVE 5 CALLS A DAY FROM CAPONE.
There is a catch with CapOne. All other finance companies will allow you to refinance a loan. Well THEY DON'T (WON'T) DO IT.
There has got to be a way to stop CapOne's unscrupulous way of handling their clients.
