My mortgage was transfered to gmac on july 13. I have to say at the time i was in default with the previouse lender and been contacted by the previouse lender attorney on July 11.
Any way i call gmac and speak to kim starbird who says i can pay gmac the default amount so i do this with certified bank checks. September i recieve my monthly statement stating i owe $4972.00 in OTHER FEES so i call gmac and was told these fees were everything from transfer to bankrupt fees to legal fees you name it they said it. As we are fighting with them over these other fees they change my flood insurance company to make my payments go up. So now i'm fighting 2 problems. As this is happening they loss my monthly payment (which i make with certifed checks and they sign for every one). Then they put another payment under investagation (WHY) next i hear from gmac attorney fisher law who claims i owe 3 months plus this fees from September which gmac has never proved i owe.
I explain this and show my copies of the months in question and fisher law walked away with out collecting the fees in question i did have to pay their legal fees of 615.00. Next i go to purchase a new car at which time i was told gmac was reporting 4 months straight forclosure and 2 months of repos (I STILL LIVE IN MY HOME) of course i did not get a car i again called gmac and of course no help then i go to the state for help D.L.L. R and gmac gave them the run around. I had no choice but to hire an attorney this was just done january. My attorney has sent them letters and gmac has taken 2 of my monthly payments and applied them to the other fees they claim we owe. Which they now say i am 2 months behind in my payments so i guess i will recieve a letter from a lawyer soon. I;m hoping this will beable to get straight between the attorneys.
Because my attorney himself gets the run around or even disconcted. Cause then i want my justice which means my deed free and clear and cash for all the suffering me and my family have had. My husband had to turn down a job offer in another state and i was unable to by my dream home i've wanted since a young child that was just sold 1 year ago no thanks to my credit report and these other fees gmac claim i owed. My credit report is perfect other then gmac. I feel i'm missing something else to tell you have to bear with me i suffer from ovarian cancer and bipolar disorder. Gmac will not fix my credit report even though i have all the certified checks to prove this. Let me say to that the credit agencies only report what they are told by gmac i sent proof and they could do nothing or so they say. I have also had to spend my money in researching checks that they questioned to prove they recieved and cashed them i spend an extra $30 a month to prove every month the revieve and cash my payments and every month i write on a piece of paper with my payment i dispute the other fees owed. I also write down every conversation i have with them. I have even did the legal letter crap and nothing. I understand how frustrating it is.
There are days they upset me by calling that i have to get a friend to come over and care for my children so i can take medicine and go into suclusion so i dont snap and end up in the hospital gmac also knows i am ill. Gmac has even harrased my husband at work. My children have gone with out because they have my interest rate at 10.25 right now payments are over $400 more then they should be and has been like this since JULY 13. I guess thats it as far as i remember i still feel im forgeting something good luck and bless you all with your fight
