My Husband got a call about a Master Card with a $2000 credit limit. We were hesitant but when asked all the question and was told that it's only $19.95 we said sure. We were trying to build back up our credit since we have recently filed Bankruptcy so what better way to do that then a Credit Card with no intrest.
Well the got there money and the packet of information came in the mail upon reading that they said that an additional $59.95 and $99.95 would be taken out for membership cost unless we canceld within 7 days.
Well we tried calling the customer service for about a wk only to be told each time to leave your name and number and someone would call you back. We have yet to receive that phone call then we noticed that the other two amounts have already been taken out of our account so once again we call customer service back and again the same message leave your name and number and someone will call you back.
My husband refused and told the lady that he wanted to speak to someone now and that he wanted to cancecl the card. Well she then proceeded to tell him that someone from refund would call him back within a wk to discuss refunding the money.
Ummmmmmmmmm hello I only have 7 days to cancel and I was suspossed to authorize this tranaction within 7 days to begin with and we didn't.
So please if someone from Capital First calls you please please say no and don't give them any information.
