In January individuals came to my small business saying they were with Credit Card Solutions of Alabama. They offered excellent rates on credit card transactions which would be handled through Merchant Card Services. They told me they would put in the machine, provide all necessary materials to process the transactions, and that I would have a no questions asked two month free trial to see if this service would increase my sales. The contract for services has Merchant Services and Lease Finance Group at the top. They even sent me a check for the first 2 months lease. This person was named Clayton S. Guillot. Mr. Guillot assured me when I signed the so-called 48 month lease agreement that I would not be committed to the lease if cancelled within the allotted 60 days.
I quickly realized what I would be paying for the machine and started to check with my bank about going through them. I was not worried because I believed Mr. Guillot would stand by his word. I could not get in touch with him. The phone number on his card would not accept calls. I contacted Merchant Services and Clayton Guillot's brother Robert called me and assured me there was no problem. I could keep the machine and continue to use Merchant Services, or I could send the machine back to his office and he would pay off the lease company.
I sent the machine back and it was refused and returned to me. After many attempts to contact someone, I was finally able to contact Clayton Guillot and was told to send the machine back again.instead, my husband delivered the machine to the office in Montgomery. I stopped payment on the lease to prevent any further charges. Since then I have been hounded on a daily basis both at work and at my home-sometimes 7-10 times a day and on weekends.
Lease finance says they have nothing to do with the people I dealt with and all I get are flunky callers to harangue me. Despite repeatedly requesting to talk with a member of management, I have not been able to do so. The callers are rude, disrespectful and will not listen to any kind of reason or try to help find any solution to the problem. They are in short a total sam and rip-off
