I had the same problem a couple of times with our deposit conveniently going in "after" the debits came in.
It seems that when you deposit after 2P.M., it clears the following night! If before 2P.M., it clears the same day (at night whenever they process).
Our bills came in the same day as our check was to clear and even then, we got dinged big time. I think it is done on purpose to make more money.
Deposits the money that night as long as it is before end of business day. If a check and a deposit came in at the same time, they cleared the deposit before the checks to avoid a mess. I sure do miss banking with them... ALOT!
