Its been over 10 years when I ordered a solofel machine. UPS said they delivered it but when I pushed they admited they left it at my front door. I lived in Brooklyn. No need to say it wasn't by my frint door when i got home and they had a signature that wasn't mine. I refused to pay for it through my Providian Credit card and it went onto my credit report. Thats was 10 years ago.
Asset Acceptance pickup up the default and started hounding me almost daily until I just stped answrring the phones. They threated to sue me. I said Go ahead. Nothing happened. They have kept it on my credit report by reporting that I have been makeing payments when I never and will never pay for anything I didn't get. They are useing unethical practices
I just got yet another call from them.
I'm hoping a lawyer with skills in this area sees this report i'm putingt here and helps me out. Providian is no longer in business yet Asset Acceptance is causeing me great stress and harming my ability to buy a home, get credit or do anything where a credit check is needed. I would like to file a lawsuit.
