I had no idea that they were other people that were being abused by Vanderbilt Mortgage. They are my worst nighmare! Well actually they were. Vanderbilt Mortgage is repossessing my home. I have until the 17th to have my single mobile home vacated. I too, had my account transferred to them when my original loan company went bankrupt! Mistake from h*l. My single mobile home payment is $530.00 a month (insurance included). No one else would give me outside insurance because Vanderbilt wants more insurance than what my home is worth. I recently tried to get my home refinance and found out that there is no loan company that would even think about refinancing because of Vanderbilt being their so-called "sister company"! On top of that Sherry Mann and Susan Galloway are the two most rudest and unprofessionalist people whom I have ever dealt with in my entire life.
Yes, I run into financial difficulties and have been late, but that still doesn't give them the right to talk to me like I'm a dog. Sherry even informed me that it was not her fault that I had bad credit and have a high interest rate. This was because I have been living in my mobile home for 8 years and I bought it at $40,000 and she says after 8 years that is what I still owe. I got behind on my mortgage payment in February because of some family issues. I finally tried to catch up on my payment in April. Well don't you know that Vanderbilt sent my check back to me so that I could be 3 payments back. That's when I got the call yesterday from Susan saying that I needed to be out the home. I ask why was the check returned and she said there was no explanation and that the sheriff should be at my home and that I will have 1 hour to vacate the home. Yes, I am tired of paying that high mortgage payment. I still have 22 more years on this home. Can someone please tell me what I need to do to find out why Vanderbilt wants so badly to repossess my home. If I send the money why would you send it back. I was also told that I would have to pay the remainder of what is left after they sell the home and don't get what they are asking! These people at Vanderbilt obviously don't go to church or know Jesus because there is no way that they sleep at night knowing the torture they put us through. Just please pray for me that I will find another home and will not have to deal with these hyprocits again. P.S. I have saved the checks that they sent back to me just in case someone out there can help me.
