Ripoff Low-Balls the Victim

On April 15th while driving I was doing my usual
thing going to workgetting off at 270E and Hanley, I
was T-boned by a man that ran a red light. The man
that ran the light admitted fault. Yet his insurance
adjuster, Craig Horris and his supervisor Margaret
Jewell are totally low-balling me.

Amercian Family is playing the usual game of taking
off prior hail damage, and other damages. Thats fine
but to say that my car was technically a total loss
before their guy hit me. I think the adjuster was the
only one to see the hail damage at $5,500. Now they
are only wanting to pay out $3,207 minus $640 if I
salvage the car. Telling me they are doing me a
favor..

Seems like a big ole slap in the face to me. It
really seemed like a slap in the face when Margaret
told me "sounds like your in between a rock and a hard
place" What? I was the victim, I was not looking for
this! Why would she say that? They created both the
rock and hard place. This would have never happend if
YOUR guy hadn't ran a red light and hit me. Like it
says on the police report.

I should have went to the doctor if for nothing more
than to have gotten checked out. My mistake! It does
not change the fact that I can't get a car as good as
the one I had with that small amount of money.
What do the last four words of the pledge of
allegiance stand for? ("and justice for all") guess
that means nothing to American Family. Maybe for them
its justice for their own. I bet anything if the shoe
were on the other foot they would be out for
everything including my blood.

So, I lost wages for work that day. I went home for
Easter, only to be in too much pain to spend with the
family, sleeping my pain away. After a few days the
pain settled, thats itself is not a big deal I have
great insurance to take care of that if need be. I did take the rental car back today only to find out that I had to cover the insurance for the eight days I had the car. At a little over $11
a day. Once again this accident that was not my fault is costing me more and more each day. Now where is the fairness in that?

I want nothing more from those people except for $5,500 for my car. If not why can't they go find me a 2000 Honda Civic with 107, XXX miles and hail damage to boot. Is doing whats right just not the American way anymore or not the American Family way?
