Ripped me off $300 misrepresented what I was receiving HOW DO I GET MONEY BACK ripoff Saint Petersburg Florida

First off let me say that I am a gullible dork. I had some identity theft when I was younger and in turn it ruined my credt. I couldn't get any credit card or loan because of it.

So a few months back I receive a phone call from NCFA. And I talk to this woman and she tells me that I have been approved for a credit card with a $2,500.00 limit. And if I want additional info, she can forwarded me on to a representative that can further tell me details.

So I say yes, what do I have to lose to talk to someone else. So I am forwarded to this guy, and he tells me all the good stuff I want to hear. He askes me if I want a visa or mastercard. I tell him visa. He then tells me they would need a $300.00 deposit. And I think okay, I don't know if I want to do this. But my husband had jsut received a credit card from First Premier Bank and had to pay a balance of $175 on his card, being that he had no credit what-so-ever.

So I think to myself, "Hey this is a good deal, I can try and get my credit back on track and have a credit card." In no part of the conversation did he tell me it was only for catalog purchases. He led me to believe I was getting a real credit card. He also tells me I will be receiving 4 $100 certificates towards my balance. So I say good deal. I sign up.

Then I receive a large envelope in the mail, and that is when I find out its for catalog orders and that the certificates are only for the DOWN PAYMENT towards the items. They want you to send in 7% of the total for shipping and 35% down on the product you are ordering. And by this time I am LIVID, because I paid $300.00 for something I did not know I was getting.

They fully misled me to believe I was getting a visa credit card. I even asked the guy numerous times if this was a credit card and he said yes. I call to try and get my money back and another guy tells me I can't but I can use these USELESS certificates and then cancel.

I would tell anyone being called by these guys TO NOT do it. They mislead you on what you will be receiving.

If someone knows what I can do to get my money back, I would be happy to hear any suggestions.
