It's a shame Ripoff

I am in the same boat as many other honest credit card holders. I have had an account for many years, and have never been late. Have always paid in more than the required amount, and pay by bank transfer.By mistake, yes my mistake I hit the wrong button and my payment was a few days late. When I was reminded, I sent in more that was required and said I was sorry, since I have never in all the years been late. She said it's all right. My next statement included a fee for past due, and an increase in interest of 26.49 percent. That's more than gangsters charged on loans. When I called to complain I was told they can do what they want since I was late. It seems that they want the good accounts to make up for there write offs.
