I set up a payment arrangement with Aurora Loan Services to get caught up on my mortgage, when I called back to say that I couldn't meet the terms and I needed more time I was told to write a "hardship" letter explaining why I had been behind in my payments (It was expalined to me that this would be used to file an FHA partial claim). I did such and faxed it that day (3/8/06) as instructed. A week later (dated 3/13/06) I recieved a letter stating that it was under review. NOW ALMOST 3 WEEKS LATER (3/27/06) I recieved a letter stating that they could not help me because I was transferred to another servicer... The letter was Dated 3/15/06 but not postmarked until 3/20/06... This leads me to believe that they back dated the letter in order for the transfer to go through and them not having to do anything with my explanation... So I am just suppose to sit tight and wait to hear from the new servicer...
