Bank of america is a rip off bank! They placed a 12 day hold on a $5,000 cash deposit and when I complained about it, they said there was no hold but I still could not withdraw money from my account - because they put a freeze on my account for no reason. Then when I cancelled both my accounts, I found out that one of the accounts was never cancelled and they started charging my account bank fees! When the account was supposed to be closed. Also, on the other account - there was a credit that tried to post on the account even though it was closed. Bank of America re-opened the account just to receive the credit and never forwarded the credit to me instead they are keeping the account open and charging monthly maintenance fees against it. These people are morans and need to be locked up.
