Credit Bureau Reporting Scam, BAD BAD RIPOFF COMPANY Ohio

In January my husband and I took out a personal loan from our local Citifinancial office. We were getting the loan for a family member who was in jepordy of loosing their house to foreclosure. They asked us if we had any collaterol, and the only thing we had was a rusted up hunk of junk my husband used as a hunting truck. They accepted it as collaterol on a six thousand dollar loan. The truck was worth maybe two hundred dollars. Anyway the loan was doomed from the start. The manager of the branch couldn't believe that the loan was approved but she sent it thru anyway and we got our money. Well we made several payments and then i had to go on bedrest due to a complicated pregnancy. I called them to see if I could make interst only payments for a while and was told no. Then one of the employees goes to our former address looking for us and proceeds to tell the people that live there (our friends) why she is there and that we are behind and she is coming to collect. We couldn't believe it. We were so embarrassed.

Well time went by and due to circumstances completely out of our control we had to file Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. They were included. We redeemed the vehicle for one hundred dollars and they were supposed to release the lein. My husband thought if he sold the vehicle as parts we could get a little money out of it. WE took the 100.00 to our local branch along with an order from our court and attorney and the guy in the office read it and had no idea what to do. They had never dealt with that before. So I went to my courthouse and the order and the courthouse released the lien. I called Citifinancial several times trying to get something down and I was put on hold for 20 and 30 minutes and a time, hung up on, talked down to, and told that they just had no idea how to get the lien released.

Anyway we got that done. That was 6 months ago. MY husband got a new job and financially we are in better shape than we have ever been in. We actually have alot more money coming in and than going out for once. So we find the house of our dreams go to get a loan and told that we can't because of all the LOANS with Citi. I try and explain to them we had 1 LOAN with them and lenders don't care. So one of them gives into my sympathy and sends me a copy of my credit report. And on the report that loan has multiplied into 5 other loans. All have balances and past due balances and a couple are still reporting us deliquent every month when they were included in the bankruptcy in March! I call them get a great girl who tells me that loans can be bought and sold, i told her that I understood that but how can they be bought and sold by the SAME COMPANY! I fax her the pages of the report where it shows the multiple accounts. All of which have different balances, different open dates, and all of the loan numbers are off by maybe 1 number. So i sent them a firm letter stating that I am going to get my attorney involved and I want something in writing stating that it is their error and they tell me that they can't put anything in writing. Even thou the girl looked at all the paperwork and told me herself that it is reporting incorrectly.

So we are stuck. I have disputed with all of the credit bureaus and call them everyday only to get the run-around. THAT COMPANY IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR US BEING DENIED A MORTGAGE!!! They are falsely and illegally reporting information to the credit bureaus. Everybody knows that they filed a claim with their insurance and got the amount still owed on our loan. So they got their money. Now they are taking advantage of us.
