I leased a new car from a local Dealership. The Dealership seems overly anxious to set me up with Ripp Off 5/3. Case of should have checked the fine print. Residual value was outrageous, payment was $ 128.00 more than I could have leased from Bank One. Most interesting thing was at turn in time, I received a call from their collection division claiming I owed over $600.00 in late fees.
When I started to question this person he became extremely beligerent and told me to wait for a tow truck! (Car had been turned in 2 Months earlier) I told this guy from the collection agency that I needed an itemized bill of the charges. His response was that I did not need one and how was I going to pay today? This stupid harassment continued until I ran into a Vice President and explained my situation to him. Only because of my business relationship with this person did this ripp off process stop. Stay away from 5/3. This modern world of Computers has only given banks and credit companies better tools to screw the lttle guy.
I respect street thugs more than Bankers, You know a street thug is going to bash in your head and take your money while a Banker robs you and will make you believe it your fault.
