RIPOFF government grant scam offering $12,500 and wants checking account

I was contacted 28 Nov by a female, who swapped me to a male operator. The female and male and strong accents, possibly from India. They had a lot of personal information about my family already and were offering a government grant.

After talking I asked for the gentleman's name, and got the response Peter Parker ID AT1008 (go Spiderman). Peter Parker was offering $12,500 dollars in government grant money, and a $500 coupon for grocery shopping. The conditions were filling out a questionare about how I was going to use the money, and a one time processing fee of undisclosed amount.

Peter then got very insistent about my address (which he had), my bank, routing number (which he had from bank name) and then pushed for the checking account.

I declined the offer at that point due to information gleaned here at Usa Consumer Complaints.com. I am now taking this information and sending it to authorities as I can.
