I am currently in foreclosure with AMC Mortgage Services a/k/a Ameriquest. I just received two letters: one addressed to me and one addressed to a Theresa Nickles (whom I have never heard of) stating that if I don't pay the total due by November 28, they will use their power of sale clause.
When I called AMC, they told me that "Theresa Nickles" was on my Deed and she is also on as one of the obligators on my loan, and they even had a Social Security number listed for her!!!
I would like to know who Theresa Nickles is. No other person has been on my deed besides myself and no one else is on my loan to Ameriquest/AMC Mortgage Services.
The lady put me on hold for 10 minutes while she was transferring me to someone "who could help me". Finally, I just hung up and I am still waiting to hear how they got this so messed up.
Do not do business with Ameriquest or AMC Mortgage Services.
