In January I refinaced my mortgage with Ameriquest at a very high rate to get my bills paid off and to get my credit score repaired... At the time Ameriquest told me that as soon as my credit score had improved, I could refinance again and theymwould waive some of the costs and the prepayment penalty...
To my suprise I was turned down by them even though my credit score had improved substancially. They told me my debt ratio was too high which nobody else did, and of course it was a lot higher in January and also that I did not make enough money, and that it was against the law to use a letter from me and no w-2 forms...
I feel that they turned me down because they never had any intention of redoing my loan and they just wanted the very high prepayment penalty and that is the way they make their money... My new loan is now costing me 9000.00 dlrs more than it should...
