Dealing with Orchard Bank is a joke!
My Credit card expired in July. But I never received a new card even though my account is in good standing, and I am qoute a valued customer unqoute. Now I have contacted them 5 times in the month of August and gotten 5 different dates as to when my card was sent. The last time they decided to give me a new account and transfer the balance over, but they gave me know info on the new account.
Therefore I have no way to make my payment since the old account is no longer valid. I was told that if I didn't make the payment on time I would be charged a late fee, but that wasn't thier problem they couldn't give me the new number over the phone. Then I was Told that if I needed to make an emergency payment that they would help me do so but would charge me a fee for that. Now how is that not robbery when I am charged because they are inept at their job, but I have to pay for it. If the payment is not made on time it is reported to my credit report. Basically this company is trying to rob me by holding my credit report to my head. If I did this to them I would probably be arrested. All in all I guess stupidity and poor business is rewarded and honesty and paying your debts isn't. So watch yourself if you deal with Orchard Bank Credit cards.
