I paid off my bill by telephone. Since I was paying off a no-finance charge promotion, I was willing to pay the $10 charge to insure that the finance charge would not become due. At the instruction of the person who took my payment, I wrote void on the check and returned it with my payment stub.
What a surprise when I discovered that the $795 was deducted from my checking account twice!
When I contacted HRS USA, I was informed that it would be 1 month before I received my refund. After speaking with the his supervisor, I was told it would take 2 weeks because the matter had to be researched. I had just listened to my account information and heard that I had a $795 credit - what research?
I don't know about the rest of you, but $795 out of my checking account is a lot of money. When a company makes a mistake, they should jump through hoops to correct it.
