Well to start off. I just don't know what to say about the San Francisco based bank, Wells Fargo. They OWE ME $. Well this is how it goes...

I went on a mission trip to Mexico for a month so I saved up some money placed it in my checking account. So during the whole time I was in Mexico I was using my ATM card because you can't walk around Mexico with a huge wad of cash. I searched around Cancun but I couldn't find this "international" bank Wells Fargo there. So everytime I withdrew money I would be charged a conversion fee and a $5.00 Non-WF fee. I was just loosing tons of money...

My whole time with Wells Fargo I have just be loosing money. From bogus fees for actually calling their 800 number ($2.00) fee... To fees of overdraft because I used credit instead of debit... For instance. Online if you use your ATM card as an ATM card (using the PIN) then it posts automatically if you use a credit it might not post that way, it takes some days almost. Well on my account all my charges where posted and this one charge that I had charged 2 weeks prior posted which made me go into overdraft and then they charged me their (OVERDRAFT fee)... Where is the customer's interest when you use devious tactic like that. I am like what are you guys doing. I use my card alot and I rely on the internet to give me accurate details on my account and it seemed like these charges would post when I was down to my last dollars.

Also when I had charged something on card and with that combined with my POS charge that I had received. It overdrafted me a couple of cents and then I was charge an ($18.00) overdraft. I had to once again and call to get that fixed.

I have just had nothing a but a huge bank suck money out me. And I was sick of it.

I had called the Phone Bankers (PB) and told them I am like I lost $30 dollars on Conversion fees and Non-Int'l WF fees that I am at the point that my loss by banking with this bank is at its climax. I told her that in Cancun there are no WF's and Traveler's Check I loose money and everytime I used VISA down in Mexico I am charged a conversion fee. I am getting charged for services THAT BANKS SHOULD PROVIDE. I explained to her that I am fed up with WF and them charging ridiculous amounts of $ for their services. She refunded me partially what they charged and reversed 2 of POS charges... Now let's go to POS charges.

I have college checking and I was under the impression that when it said FREE COLLEGE CHECKING that it was actually free. Stupid of me to think that! But free to WF still means that you are liable for a $1 POS charge that I have been getting for the past 24 months. The PB Rep told me if I were to go into a branch and they would be able to retrorefund my charges. I go into the branch and then they tell me no! We can't go back that far and then WF refers to their latent disclosures. Saying did I read them. And I said I read to the pamphlete on Free College Banking and no where in there does it say that I am being charged 1.00 to use my card. Then she replies that the Free College Checking program changes periodically and I am like... Ok..

So I call back PB and I talk with a Rep he gives me the same jargon and then he transfers me to his boss and she talks to me and uses the classic WF response:

She was "Uh uh ok. How come YOU didn't pick this up 2 years ago" and I am like well it didn't really stand out to me until now and plus I am fed up with all the charges that WF charges. I want to be recompensed for all the WF has stolen from me. Wells Fargo never takes the blame but they pawn it off on their customers... THAT IS great CUSTOMER SERVICE!

She was like "Uh uh ok. I could look up your history but it isn't "bank error" and if you could show me in disclosures then I would be happy to refund you." WHAT PART OF FREE COLLEGE CHECKING that Wells Fargo doesn't get.

Wells Fargo is DECEPTIVE, huge conglomerate monopolistic bank that have the interest of themselves and not their 4 million UNSATISFIED customers.

When I was talking on the phone about my account my friend says you should go to Washington Mutual because their College checking accounts are actually FREE. If you ever heard an advertisement for WAMU free checking, there is a lady that charges the customers just outrageous fees in order to access, deposit, withdraw and inquire about his account and I definitely feel that way with WF..

I was going to make the mistake of borrowing money from WF in a student loan for $12,000.. I hurried up and cancelled that application because I know would get charged for actually using the money towards my education...

I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND Wells Fargo as a bank of choice to anyone. Now if the person wants to loose astronomical amounts of money due to hidden and bogus charges or shifty money handling then Wells Fargo is your bank. I am definitely looking into another bank. I don't like them whatsoever and they taking money from me. I am afraid to close my account with them because of the FEES...

The bank should be called "Fees Fargo"... We never go wrong, once all your money out your account is gone!

There are so many other horror stories about FEES FARGO, but I bet I am getting charged for typing their name and I am very tired. Fees Fargo does nothing but stress me out. They promote themselves and they only work for the good of their pocket not their customers. THEY USE US AND THOSE WRETCHED FEES to acquire 397 BILLION in assests and worth. Think about it. They're shifty!

Any Wells (Fees) Fargo customers switch banks while you can!!!
