Myperfectcredit.com
Ripoff

I recieved and e-mail for a free credit repert through myperfectcredit.com, I made an account and recieved my report. They provided me options to opt in or opt out of items reported on my credit. At the time I didn't understand what this meant, so I tried to opt in and out of a few and see what it did. It wasn't until a month or two had passed that I recieved notificationb that they were trying to charge my debit card account. As soon as I became aware that they were trying to charge me I logged on to myperfectcredit.com to get contact information for them and to find out why they were charging me, and delete my card information.

I tried deleting my debit card information from the account and it wouldn't let me. When I tried calling them I was unable to contact an actual person so I submitted 3-5 requests on their website asking them not to charge me anything, to delete my card from their information, and that I shouldn't owe them anything, etc. I finally recieved a letter back from them saying that my debit card would NOT be charged and that they would cancel my membership. I thought it was all taken care of! Then today I was talking to my mom (I live overseas so she's my contact info.) and she tells me that some man called and left a message to call a number. I called it and it was FIRST CREDIT OF AMERICA and I kept getting voicemail boxes until finally I got an actual person and I asked her what it was about and she said that I owe Myperfectcredit.com $270. I said no way I don't owe them anything I cancelled my accounbt with them and they sent me an e-mail saying they wouldn't charge me anything. She said that it is in the terms and agreement when you sign up for an account with them that you will be charge if you cancel your membership.

I said well then I will get an attorney and challenge the validity of that claim. She said that's fine she doesn't care that it's between me and perfectcredit.com but that it would show a refusal to pay on my credit report. Hopw dare these people offer to fix credit problems and then try to make them. I am mailing them a notice to CEASE & DESIST and if they post anything on my credit I will definatly dispute it.
