After falling behind 2 payments I set up dates to which my account was suppose to be debited for the amount of $330.00. The first payment cleared my account as scheduled. However while on vacation I noticed the 2nd scheduled payment failed to clear my account. The following day after recieving numerous calls on my voice mail from Ameri Credit I called them back. The very rude customer service rep did not want to take responsibility for their error. I explained to them that I had originally set up dates for which the second payment was suppose to clear. Since I was on vacation I did not have access to my check book and that is where I had kept my confirmation #. I understand mistakes happen but I was threatened by this rep that my credit report would reflect negativley for that month.
The main problem here is the rudeness of their customer service. When my loan originated a few years back I didn't have this problem. They were curteous and friendly. Now they want to know what is happening in my personal life that would cause me to fall behind like their a family member ready to lend a helping hand. This behavior is unacceptable and needs to stop. I will do whatever it takes to smear their name and recommned that no one sign one of their contracts. Its like being married to the mob.
