Subscribed to Truecredit for the service of being alerted if any changes good or bad on my credit report occured for any of the (3) big bureaus. Since I had already submitted for correction of errors to all 3, I was awaiting updates so I could proceed with a loan.
Began hearing back from the bureaus of updated information yet my "weekly alert" said no changes. I called & pointed out that one of the bureaus who made major changes was Transunion. (Truecredit is a subsidiary of Transunion.)
I was told Transunion didn't submit their weekly update. I asked what I was paying Transunion for if they were not following through on their part of the obligation. I then asked for a refund, was told no. I then asked if contacting the Better Business Bureau was the only way to get one? To which representative Aleanzra Aro replied, "Yes".
I now see there are over 100 complaints of this company listed to the Better Business Bureau.
