I recently applied for a visa card. No where did it say that they would deduct 159.00 from my checking act. That is exactly what they did. I called the 800 number that the bank had and the lady who answered the phone was the rudest, most nasty person i ever spoke with. When i asked why they did that all she would say is it is all disclosed in the agreement, I never signed any agreement. I said i wished to cancel she said you will only get 100.00 back the rest they keep for app. Fees. I said what if the funds don't clear she said it will keep debiting the acct. There is no way to stop it and if you call the number after hours it sounds like a home answering machiene. How unprofessional is that? When i said that they cant just go running around stealing money from people she said they don't i said i think they do and she hung up on me! So with virtually no way to recover the funds i am out 159.00 w/o anything to show for it. Someone should get these guys and show them what its like to be on the bad end of a scam and a little jail time wouldn't hurt!
