After booking a hotel room i was transferred to a service where i could save money on shopping. Signed up for the 3 month trial period for only $1, and i would recieve information about the program in the mail. I authorized shoppers advantage to take the dollar out. I also specifically asked what number do i call to cancel, he only gave me one number. After i received the information booklet about the company i called up and canceled due to information that was different then what i was told on the phone. I recieved a confirmation number. So i threw away the information i recieved.

On 9-30 i saw a charge on my account from that day of 89.99. I called up my bank, got the company. Realized it had to be from shoppers advantage. Called up shoppers advantage, gave them my confirmation number, they said that was canceled just call travelers advantage, a different number, called them. I contacted them, they wanted my membership # i said i didnt have a memebership number becasue im not a member (i never received anything from them). Told them about the charge and gave them my confirmation number from shoppers advatage. He told me that the money will be put back onto my account within 10-15 business days. I then hung up. I called back to make sure everything was set, a girl said that my account would not be credited. I then spoke to a supervisor, and stated that i didnt sign up for this service. He told me "well when you sign up for shoppers advantage, you get travelers advantage also". I stated that i was unware of this, he said "well most people are, but you did sign up for 2 services". I said "well if i signed up for 2 services, why was i only given 1 number to call to cancel" he didnt say anything... Blah blah blah... I contact people from the company numerous time... Each person telling me something differnt than before.

Due to the charge, checks of mine have bounced and fees have been anquired. If they do not pay for my fees, i am pursueing legal action. I did not authorize anything from them, and if i did, like they claim, they can just show it from the phone conversation they recorded.
