This is the situation. My husband has a dispute filed against him. They froze both our accounts. I am not in a dispute with anyone but he is.
My account was froze as I can't access the 884.00 balance I have in my paypal account. I can't receive payments. I have spent over 1 hour on the phone with PP and all they say is sorry.
They are holding 1585.00 of my husbands money which is suppose to be returned to a customer. PP won't release the funds. I asked them when I should be able to except funds (last night) they said 24 hours. It has been over 24 hours and
no change.
I asked why my account was froze, they stated due to our same internect connection. My husband and I have seperate accounts with paypal and ebay, we even have 2 seperate computers.
I was told that they can hold my 884.00 for up to 180 days and then after that they have the right to keep my 884.00 with the excues of faulty business actions.
On another website I read an posting from an ex paypal manager they have these freeze meetings through out the week and they give their employees a list of people to freeze. The way the company is set up they hope people get fed-up with the customer service and will just walk away then paypal keeps the money as bonus funds.
I have had to send a stack of faxes and jump through hoops. They asured me it woulds be settled in a timely mannor. So far it has been a long process. They say when they release my husbands funds My account will be unfroze. How can this be fair business.
I asked them If I lived in an apartment complex would they freeze everyone that used the cable line for internet access. They claimed that was different, but it could be done.
After this I will no longer be using paypal.
