For my last three billing cycles with Providian they decided to charge my account with a finance charge even though the account was paid in full and sent weeks ahead of the due date. When called thier representitives will beat around the bush. These people really don't know how to handle a customers complaint. I keep getting a circular argument with thier representitive about these finance charges. I wanted to know how they could have received and posted my check late when I sent it out two weeks or more early. I was told that I sent it late or that I was mistaking I did not sent it until after it was due etc, etc, etc. I do know when I send out a bill I write it down. I suggest to any one else with this problem to start sending thier payment by certified mail registered. This should at least give proof that your bill was posted late and Providian did not receive it late.
