Cross country bank A.K. A Applied Card systems

My name is Peter. I am a former employee of Applied Card Systems, a.K.A. Cross country bank. Please do not misunderstand me, I am not a disgruntled employee. It is just that when I read about the ethics of this company, I feel partially responsible. So I am going to tell you the way it is. You may not believe me, but here it is.ccB is a gentleman from Boca Raton, FL.in my opinion, it is nothing more than a loan shark operation. This company preys upon people who have moderate to bad credit, charging interest rates as high as 26.99. Now here's how it works.ccB makes the most of its money not from the payments, but from the $7 charge that they get from convincing someone to pay over the telephone.

Collections agents are literally given classes on how to be deceptive in order to get the customer to the phone.
Once they have got the customer on the phone, they use what amounts to scare tactics by sayings such as third party collection, arbitration court, and breach of contract. Sometimes when a customer asks for a supervisor, they are simply turned over to another collector.ccB has 5 call centers. Each handles a different rate of late accounts, going by how many months they have been late. My former site is used mainly to work people who are 60 days late and over. They will call as many as 10 times per day. They will probe children for questions such as "What is your mother/father's work phone number".

Now, here's what to do the next time they call you. Ask for Brian Collins or Arron Williamson or Ron Hill or Leo Roncho. These are the only ones who really have control over your account. They control the collectors and what they say. Funny enough, you never see them on the phone with an actual customer, they only watch our calls. They are located in Ashland, KY. I do understand that this article seems as if I have a grievance with ccb. I do not. My objection is the fact that this company claims to help people with bad credit, when all it does is force them into bankruptcy. Believe me, I have seen it hundreds of times.

All you have to do when they call is simply hang up regardless of what threats they say. They can do nothing more than turn you over to a third party collector, who will only help you and treat you fair. I have seen balances paid in full with $0.50 purposely left on the account so that even if the account is closed when the former due date rolls around, the customer gets a late fee of $30. All I really want is for the public to be aware of this company. The company cares for nothing more than telephone payments. They have a quota they must meet each night. To let this company do this to you gives them the right to do this to anyone. As I said earlier, you may not believe me, but that does not make what I have written any less the truth.
