Pioneer First Platinum Visa
Ripoff

I called about getting a credit card after being told I could get one for $5,000. When I talked to the 'gentleman', he said it was a Platinum Visa, and all I needed to do was give him my account number so that they could withdraw $189.00. Well, I fell for everything he said. He never once mentioned it was a purchasing card from some catalog. They also said I would receive my card within 6 weeks after paying the $189.00. That was back on 11/2/01. To date I still haven't received a card and have since found out that it wasn't a credit card at all. Plus, the phone number is no longer working and they are no longer listed on the web as they first were. That is how I found out that I had not signed up for an actual 'credit card'. It obviously was a huge scam to just get money from us since no card has ever been issued nor have I received any catalogs to use either. I have no way of contacting anyone to get my money back and I have tried many times at the number I was given.By the way, that phone number is: 800/996-2047 and 800/996-1259. You get the announcement "Block 47, that number is invalid."
