Washington Mutual continously and deliberately delays posting deposits and holding of checks in order to create an overdraft situation.in one (1) week I was charged $550.00 in overdraft charges and 4 checks being returned back to the person who it was made out to.
These overdrafts WERE NOT CAUSED BY BAD CHECK WRITTING, they were the result of Washington Mutual times posting of deposit to the DISADVANTAGE of the account holder.
When I called the bank they told me that they were not able to refund me the additional fees of the $550.00 because I was short on money which wasn't true.
Up to this day and time I still have not heard a word from Washington Mutual representative. I have heard throughout the people that I know that they have closed their bank account with Washington Mutual because of the same situation which I am pretty sure that it is happening to many people out there in this world.
